The site currently is adding more than 40,000 songs each month, and over 5,000 bands. For music fans, the biggest draw is probably the tons of free mp3 downloads.

The site has streaming radio stations for many electronic music categories, but doesn’t let you make your own station. Also, it doesn’t currently have a collaborative feedback system, unlike Launch.

For musicians, Soundclick offers a free artist page, a gig calendar, and most importantly, unlimited song uploads. This is one of the best free sites for independent musicians to promote themselves. You get message boards, mailing lists, lyric pages, individual song pages, and you can sell your CDs through them.
