Alesis introduced a standalone CD burner, the Alesis CD Twin, at the NAMM 2004 Summer Session.
The CD Twin is a fast and easy solution for backing up audio and data from all popular CD formats.
The CD Twin has a 52x burn mechanism that makes one-button CD to CD copies, as well as compilations from audio CD’s. Alesis’ ergonomically designed, lightweight unit comes with stereo line outputs, and a headphone output that allows DJ’s to monitor what’s on each CD. With built-in USB and software, the CD Twin allows fast backup directly from PC and MAC computers.
The CD Twin uses both CD-R and CD-RW blank discs, and can backup audio CD, data CD, VCD, CD-I, CD+G, and Photo CD. The CD Twin’s design and ease of operation make this unit ideal for anyone who burns their own CD’s.
