Vestax introduced the VMC-004 mixer at the 2004 Summer NAMM show, which offers high quality and functionality at an affordable price for beginner and intermediate house and techno DJs. The 4-channel mixer includes a 3-band, 100% cut isolator per channel as well as 5-segment LED meters on each channel.
The VMC-004 includes four RCA line inputs, four phono inputs and two mic inputs. On the output side, it offers two stereo RCA master outputs (Master1, Booth/Master2) with separate volume controls.
A flexible headphone monitor section features a cue/master blend control. It allows users to adjust the relative levels of Cue and Master heard through headphones, enabling the DJ to mix in the headphones.
The Vestax VMC-004 is currently available at a US MSRP of $420 (with an average street price of $299).
