Native Instruments has announced that a demo version of Kontakt 1.5 for Windows and Mac OS X is now available.

Kontakt was designed to be the most powerful sampler ever created. It fuses an innovative semi-modular design with an advanced sampling engine, resulting in a fast and flexible sampler with exceptional sound quality.

The Kontakt 1.5 demo version is based on the latest software version 1.5.3 and comes preloaded with a small sound library. This library includes a house organ, various bass sounds, a drum kit and several voice samples, giving an instant insight into the powerful features of Kontakt 1.5 such as the Beat Machine, Time Machine II and group start options.

The Kontakt 1.5 demo version for Windows and Mac OS X is available as a free download on the NI website.
