NAMM Show Update: Edirol has announced the MA-15D Digital Stereo Monitors. These desktop reference monitors offer crisp audio quality using a 2-way bass reflex system in a compact wooden cabinet.

The 15W+15W monitors are shielded for placement near a computer and offer both 1/4” and RCA inputs with independent volume control. The MA-15D’s also host S/PDIF Coax and Optical inputs to play audio directly from digital sources up to 24-Bit/192 kHz without any signal degradation between the device and the speakers.

The MA-15D comes with a built-in Bass Enhancer which uses psychoacoustic principles causing the user to perceive accentuated low-end signals without over-driving the 100mm woofers. The MA-15D’s also have a “Sub out” to send audio to an external sub woofer. The EDIROL MA-15D’s offer front accessible controls for Bass, Treble, Volume for Input 1/Digital, and Volume for Input 2 as well as a Headphone output.
