NAMM: BBE Intros Opto-Stomp
NAMM Update: BBE has announced the Opto Stomp, the optical compressor found in its B-Max bass preamp in a foot pedal format.
The pedal offers a ’soft knee’ design along with control of dynamics and a very musical compression reminiscent of the classic designs of the best vintage optical-element compressors of the 50’s and 60’s, according to the company. Other features include a switchable –15dB pad, compression indicator, non slip rubber base, easy to access 9v battery compartment, while an external power supply is included in the package.
