Native Instruments has announced that a demo version of Kontakt 2 is now available.

Kontakt 2 is the second generation of NI´s award-winning flagship sampler. With a powerful new sampling engine, comprehensive surround integration, the unique Kontakt Script Processor (KSP), integrated convolution effects, unrivaled import capabilities, and a massive 15 GB sample library, Kontakt 2 is simply the most advanced sampler ever.

The demo version comes with a special demo library that contains nine instruments and showcases the new KSP and convolution features.

The Kontakt 2 demo version is now available as a free download for Windows and Mac OS X on the NI website.
