Griffin Technology has announced that the AirClick Remote with Dock Connector is now shipping.

The AirClick Remote attaches to the base of iPods, and uses RF technology that lets users control their iPod from up to 60 ft. away. It also can control 5th Generation iPod video playback.

The remote features five buttons: play/pause, next track, previous track, volume up, and volume down. It also has a hold switch, mimicking that of the iPod. A clip on the back provides easy access while jogging, cycling or relaxing.

Each AirClick package ships with a remote, a receiver that mounts to the iPod, and a remote cradle and straps for attaching it to an automobile steering wheel, bicycle, or anything that’s handy.

The Griffin AirClick is priced at $39.99 USD.
