Behringer announced at The NAMM Show 2006 the addition of two ultra-compact passive direct injection boxes to its ULTRA-DI series – the ULTRA-DI DI600P and ULTRA-DI DI400P.
The ULTRA-DI DI600P comes with a switchable Inst/Amp input for connecting instrument or amplifier outputs (of up to 3,000 Watts) to balanced microphone input for PA and recording. Its high-performance transformer allows the use of long cables without loss of high frequencies and filter switch reduces annoying hiss and buzz.
The ULTRA-DI DI400P is designed to connect a guitar or bass directly to a mixer without losing sound quality due to impedance mismatches, long cables or cycle hum. It allows simultaneous conversion of unbalanced, ¼” jack input into balanced XLR output and routing of the instrument signal to an on-stage amplifier.
Features of the ULTRA-DI DI600P and ULTRA-DI DI400P include:
- High-performance passive direct injections boxes
- Converts any unbalanced signal to balanced output
- Ground lift switch eliminates typical ground-loop problems
- Ultra-compact, all-metal and road-worthy housing
