Paul Simon and Brian Eno have collaborated on Simon’s latest album, Surprise.
Eno, in addition to his pioneering ambient music, has produced a variety of artists, including Devo, Talking Heads and U2.
Simon returns with his first album in six years. Many are calling it his best work since 1990’s Rhythm of the Saints. Three of the songs were co-written with electronic music guru Eno.
NPR has interesting conversation with Simon about songwriting and making Surprise.
