Pro Tools LE and Pro Tools M-Powered 7.1.1 software are free updates that support Apple’s new Intel-based iMac, MacBook Pro, and Mac Mini computers. Both updates run natively on Intel-based Macs, making full use of the host computer’s processing power. These updates are only for Intel-based Macs.Registered Pro Tools LE 7 owners and registered Pro Tools M-Powered owners (any version) can download the appropriate update at the Digidesign and M-Audio websites or order an installer CD (for a nominal handling charge) from the online DigiStore.

Updated installers for the Music Production Toolkit and DV Toolkit 2 software expansion options are available as downloads and as part of the 7.1.1 installation CDs. Updated installers for Digidesign and Digidesign-distributed plug-ins will be included with the 7.1.1 update. Customers should check with all other third-party plug-in manufacturers for Intel-based Mac–compatible versions of their plug-ins.
