Jam Mate USB GuitarSummer NAMM 2006 Update: ESI Professional was showing the JamMate UG-1 guitar. The JamMate is designed to be a basic computer music guitar, with a USB connector and amp software.

The JamMate UG-1 package includes UG-1 guitar and Amplitube Live amp simulator software for variety of guitar effects and amp modeling. Also included are the essentials for the beginners such as headphones, a gig bag, the USB cable, strings, a strap, and even picks.

JamMate UG-1 guitar also can work as standard electric guitar and supported by both PC and Mac. A headphone amp is also built in for direct headphone connection for practicing in silence mode.
