Sonomic and Zero-G have announced that over 120 Zero-G titles are now available as Downloadable CDs from Sonomic. Downloadable CDs offer all of the sounds from a physical CD title as a single compressed file that can be downloaded with one click.

Zero-G Downloadable CDs include numerous Keyboard KeyBuy, Future Music Platinum, and Sound On Sound Five Star award-winning titles, such as Chemical Beats, Jungle Warfare, Planet of the Breaks, Total House, Deepest India, Funk Guitar, Phantom Horns, NY Cutz, Nu House, and many more.

“We’re extremely pleased to offer much of Zero-G’s unmatched sample library as Downloadable CDs,” says Adam Strauss, CEO of Sonomic. “Sonomic has long offered individual downloads of Zero-G content, but as broadband has become more prevalent, so have customer requests for the ability to download entire CDs. Zero-G Downloadable CDs represent another way for Sonomic customers to get instant access to the sounds they need.”

“Now that most studio musicians surf the web at broadband speeds, the time has come to offer them the ability to audition and purchase our back catalog of classic Sample CD titles online,” says Ed Stratton, MD of Zero-G. “Being able to obtain a complete library of Zero-G samples immediately, anywhere in the world by download, is an inevitable but important development for Zero-G in 2006, and we are delighted to work with Sonomic, a long time partner in the internet distribution of our sounds, as a worldwide distributor of downloadable Zero-G CDs.”

A rock band cannot rehearse in the suburbs at 3 o’clock in the morning. You can make electronic music at 3 o’clock in the morning, and your mom doesn’t complain. — Moby
