Rain Recording audio workstation laptopRain Recording has introduced two laptops that “will redefine mobile Workstations”, according to the company. Both LiveBook and LiveBook Studio feature Intel’s Core 2 Duo technology and are deigned to provide stable and consistent performance in applications where failure is not an option.

“The new revisions and enhancements in LiveBook and LiveBook Studio provide the ability to do more desktop applications than ever before,” said Bill Paschick, Rain Recording President. “This is the first time mobile technology has approached the speed, HD capacity and performance of a desktop workstation.”

The redesigned Rain Recording LiveBook offers new features including a built-in Web Cam, Bluetooth and internal SATA hard drive as well as the integrated Azalia Audio Chip. LiveBook gives you everything you need to record, play back, and share music without over-heating or audio drop-outs.

LiveBook Studio features a new 17″ Widescreen display with built-in Web cam, DVD/RW Super Multi drive, external SATA port and Bluetooth. Core Duo architecture powers Windows XP, with 2 GB of RAM for optimized performance. Additionally, Rain Recording’s proprietary Quiet Cool allows you to work in any environment regardless of the ambient temperature.

More information is available at the Rain Recording site.
