A free demo of RiffWorks guitar recording software is now available. To kick off this launch, Sonoma Wire Works, along with Line 6, Disc Makers, CDBaby, Recording Magazine, and Submersible Music, have announced the fifth RiffRumble song contest.

The free RiffWorks Demo has RiffWorks Standard’s intuitive recording interface, looped recording, automatic track creation, 7 studio-quality effects, InstantDrummer, REX Player, ReWire Mixer, Metronome, and more. Saving is enabled, so users can save the songs they create with the demo and will be able to open them in RiffWorks Standard. The demo does not time out. Users should make sure they meet the system requirements and have a compatible input device before downloading it.
