Numark Introduces Total Control DJ Software Controller

Numark Total Control DJ Controller

Winter NAMM: Numark introduced the Total Control DJ software controller. Numark calls Total Control “the missing link for software DJs”.

Total Control’s interface is similar to popular Numark crossfader and jog-wheel-based mixing stations like the iDJ² and NuVJ. Total Control’s 31 buttons, 20 knobs and 5 faders send MIDI data from the controller to your DJ software of choice, making the inconvenience of mouse or glide-pad software control a thing of the past.

No assignment of software parameters for the Total Control is necessary – simply connect the controller to a computer with a USB cable, enable it on the user’s computer’s “config” menu, and watch the virtual controls respond to Total Control’s actions.
Total Control is USB bus powered, so no adapter is needed, and it also features a Kensington security slot, for secure theft protection.

The Total Control comes packaged with Numark’s Cue Lite and Native Instruments’ Traktor LE software, with already-mapped controls and overlay “skins” for both applications. The functionality of both software packages allows PC and Mac users to play, scratch and mix both audio and video files simultaneously, opening up more mix possibilities than ever before.

DJs can use this powerful controller with any DJ software application that supports MIDI. There is no need to relearn a new software application with the Total Control – users have total control of this unit’s powerful capabilities.

The Total Control retails for about $250.

  1. I could really use this product but i am afraid to actually purchase it. Has anyone actually succeded in using this equipment with TraKtor? I’m not interested in using the bundled CUE software(it’s for noobs).

  2. You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but
I find this matter to be actually something that I think
I would never understand. It seems too complex
and extremely broad for me. I am looking forward for your next
post, I’ll try to get the hang of it!

  3. I hardly write responses, however i did a
few searching and wound up here Numark Introduces Total Control DJ Software Controller ? Synthtopia.
And I actually do have a couple of questions for you if it’s allright.
Is it just me or does it look like a few of the remarks look as
if they are coming from brain dead people?
😛 And, if you are posting on additional places, I would like to keep up with everything new you have to post.
Would you make a list of all of your communal pages like
your linkedin profile, Facebook page or twitter feed?
