iCompositions, a community for independent Mac-using musicians, and BeatHive.com have teamed up to give away 101 royalty-free Apple Loops. The package represents a sampling of the most popular loops sold on BeatHive’s online loop marketplace, covering a variety of instruments and styles.

The contents of this package are distributed in Apple Loops format for easy organization in GarageBand, Logic, and any other application that supports AIFF samples.

Featuring 8 additional collections from the world’s most popular Apple Loop producers, iCompositions now offers a total of 1025 free Apple Loops. Registration is required to download the free loops.

BeatHive.com is an online marketplace where musicians buy and sell loops. Producers from around the world open a loop shop, upload their content, and sell through the BeatHive database. Musicians audition, rate, and buy 100% royalty-free loops on an individual basis, or in “packs” at a discount.

iCompositions.com is an internet community for aspiring musicians with a focus on Mac-using artists and, even more specifically, users of Apple’s GarageBand. Artists can upload an unlimited number of songs to be played and critiqued by other members of the community, facilitating the exchange of constructive criticism and providing each artist the opportunity to improve and enjoy their musical adventures.
