Realsamples HarpsichordRealsamples has announced its Realsamples Harpsichord library will now include the harpsichord’s lute stop sound, offering the same conveniences of the original harpsichord sound: 8 samples and 4 release samples per note to complete the harpsichord experience.

The samples were recorded in 24 bits/96 khz resolution using Royer SF-1 and R122 ribbon microphones.

The lute stop is also available for free download in the GigaStudio-format in 16 bits/44.1 khz, compatible with most software samplers.

The instrument’s file size is 529 MB, downloadable here as compressed zip file (284 MB).
