VirSyn has announced the release of VTAPE—The Analog Tape Suite.

VTAPE is a set of two plugins based on a thorough simulation of the sound of analog tape machines. The saturator simulates the recording and playback of an analog tape mastering machine. The delay combines this sound with a modern, step sequencer-like tapped delay engine.

Unfortunately, VTAPE requires a hardware copy protection dongle.

From now till November 30th, 2007, VTAPE is available for EURO 99.- instead of EURO 169.-

Host compatibility includes VST 2.4, AudioUnit, and RTAS.

• Pentium III 600 Mhz processor or Athlon
• 512 MB RAM
• Windows XP
• USB port required for Syncrosoft copy protection device
• 16-bit Soundcard with DirectX/ASIO driver

• 512 MB RAM
• Mac OS X version 10.4
