http://salteens.com/?p=44

I'm so Happy by The Saltines was my 18 month old daughters first tune that she sang over and over. She is two now and sings "I'm So Happy" just out of the blue. I would like to get this on CD and any other music they make. I would like to know more about them and see them many more times on the show. My little one just goes absolutely crazy when I play them off my DVR.

yo gabba gabba is the GREATEST children's show of all time!! Me and my 3 year old are watching it right now and she loves it just as much as I do. Biz Markie, Tony Hawk, Leslie and the Ly's, the Aquabats, the Saltines and so many other great people have been on the show. While I will always be a loyal fan of Peewee's Playhouse, Yo Gabba Gabba is right up there. I miss the 80's, but Yo is a nice reminder of the simpler times of childhood before the internet and pokemon.

It was created by the frontman from the ska band The Aquabats. Notice that Mark Mothersbaugh is the guest artist. It's a trip seeing the lead singer of Devo drawing a monkey. I think my wife and I look forward to watching this show as much as our 3 1/2 yo daughter does.

Peace \/

Brian

You're going to have to post some videos of your 909/Lve 7 experiments with your kid.

You gotta love this Yo Gabba Gabba show - it looks like it was created by people who grew up with classic electronic music sounds.

Dude, my 8 year old watches this on YouTube with me a few days ago and says "dad, that sounds like it was made with Reason or Live!" So we broke out the 909 sounds in Live 7 and went to town. Kids love beats. The show even has a "beat of the day" how-to with Biz Markie. Word.
