2007 Technics Turntable
After selling nearly 350 million of the classic  Technics SL1200 turntable, Panasonic has released a limited edition 35th anniversary version, SL1200 MK6.

Scheduled for release on February 1, 2008, the SL1200 MK6 will be available in silver and black. Production is limited to 1,500.

Here are the features (translated from Japanese):

  • High-quality materials OFC (oxygen-free copper wire) used for the S-shaped tone arm
  • Further vibration damping of the three-tiered cabinet
  • Continuous pitch control accuracy improvements
  • Long-life high-intensity blue LED

Or, as they say, “DJs from around the world will be supported by the SL-1200 high-performance high reliability!”
