Tony Monaco demonstrated how he could gig and get a massive sound by using laptop beats as his rhythm section, the pedals for bass, one keyboad of the Hammond for chords with a B3 sound, and then using the second manual to trigger a B3/synth mix.
The combination sounded like a full band, and Monaco has so much swing that each part stood on its own.
