FWIW, Tascam PR guy, there&#039;s 2 Zoom&#039;s out there already that do a great job, slightly bigger, but same price bracket.  PLUS you get 48V phantom power on the H4.

That said, the DR-1 certainly -looks- great, and won&#039;t get the &quot;uh, is that a taser?&quot; type reactions that the H4 does.</description>
