Presonus Firestudio Tube

At the 2008 Winter NAMM Show, PreSonus announced the FireStudio Tube – a 24-bit/96k 16 input, 10 output Firewire recording system for Windows and Macintosh computers that features two tube-based analog “super channels”.

The FireStudio Tube has sixteen analog inputs – two tube-based super channels on the front panel, eight XMAX preamps on the rear chassis and six balanced TRS inputs. All outputs are Neutrik balanced TRS.

The FireStudio Tube also sports MIDI I/O, LED input metering, headphone output and zero-latency matrix mixer. The FireStudio Tube ships with the PreSonus Propak software suite including Cubase LE 4 as well as a bundle of third party plug-ins, loops and drum samples.

The FireStudio Tube is scheduled to ship Spring, 2008.
