He takes upwards of 150 vitamins and mineral capsules a day to guarantee that he lives to see his precious "Singularity." He believes that he will resurrect his dead father by digging up his grave, extracting his DNA, and using robotic technology to reconstruct his body. Oh, and did I mention this is all going to happen by the year 2045? Gimme a break. No one is denying that Ray is brilliant, but that doesn't mean he's not crazy, either.
