If you check out one thing this weekend, check out Hobnox AudioTool.

It’s like Reason for your Web browser – a collection of Web-based audio tools that you can patch together in play, including a TB303, TR808, TR909 and a variety of effects pedals.

It’s just a demo, but I’m impressed. Let me know what you think!

Hey, thanks for picking up the tool. As you said, it’s a demo version, the 808 and a couple more of effect pedals will be added in the coming weeks. We’re also working on timeline/arrangement and saving, keep checking back and meanwhile check out Joa (one of the devs) with the tool in action, experiencing with MIDI:

      something to think about

Classical music is music without Africa. It represents old-fashioned hierarchical structures, ranking, all the levels of control. Orchestral music represents everything I don’t want from the Renaissance: extremely slow feedback loops. — Brian Eno
