I could give you about a dozen reasons why I should hate this, from the music to the crapulous source material to the cheese factor of the movie – but on some level, this just works for me.

This is terrible and is as cliched as the movie looks.
I thought the movie was great and the remix theme song was pretty good. It’s a shame that the movie didn’t do very well in the opening weekend.
I like the refrain. They even squeezed a sample from the Japanese version.
Everything else is garbage.
lol I swear I’m addicted to this song. Though.. driving with it should be considered illegal because it is dangerous for 1. me, 2. my car, 3. the other people on the road when I’m listening and driving with this song. I swear this song had me doing 80 in a 30 mile zone. XD
I don’t know who you people are, but for once some of you should leave all your techology-logic and open up your heart to some fantasy, this video and the music that goes with it captures the essence of Speed Racer and brings it into a new millenium without loosing any of the original chemistry, if anything it amplifies it: check Trixie out, isn’t that a real babe now? I love it!!
I thought it was cheesy at first — then, after I saw the movie a few times, I couldn’t help but love it ! Sure it’s silly and fun — but its also kinda cool in that non-pretentious way… unlike the Fast & Furious soundtrack, which tries so hard to be hardcore – that its truly corny.
