M-Audio has released a new FireWire driver for Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.2.

This driver update is available immediately for the following devices :

  • FireWire 1814
  • FireWire 410
  • FireWire Audiophile
  • FireWire Solo
  • NRV10
  • Ozonic

This driver does not support ProjectMix I/O or ProFire Lightbridge.

    Just tried the new drivers for the Audiophile with a brand new Mac mini – OS X version 10.5.2 – NOT WORKING… :-(

    Went to their download page, filled out the survey, click the download link – NOTHING. It’s nearly November 08 – how about a driver for M-Audio for Leopard!!!!

      something to think about

      Man is re-micing fun. All the guitars we recorded in Australia we took the dry, non-plug-in effected versions and rented a shitload of vintage amps from the 60’s and ran the dry signal into them and “mic-ed” them “again” (hence the name re-micing) and treated all the guitars and bass through all these classic amps. I am freaking the fuck out how dope they sound. — BT
