When an instrument enters this price range, there are only a select few who can go out and plunk plastic for it immediately. This begs the question is, as a musician, is my music contribution tied to the hardware/software/axe I want/need? I believe that music is streamed from the inner person, the consciousness which orders the energy into a purpose that fulfills its course. Tied to any instrument? Not. The value of what is produced on any instrument-human parts included is that it gives to and honors the listener. A $7k instrument, to be sure, can do this, but it isn't necessary to produce beauty, awareness and aliveness that is the essence of what we are abut as musicians. Again, nothing wrong with things, just our attachment to them as a means of expression. Expression comes from a much deeper and wiser place.
