I’ve been skeptical about the Monome & Tenori-On as musical instruments, since they are basically a collection of on-off switches.

This video, though, by Edison, challenges my preconceptions and offers a tempting preview of his upcoming album.

Should be very cool!

He is pushing some conventional boundaries by creating in this new way. Anything new is always viewed with a bit of natural skepticism at first, but he may just be a forerunner to new and greater experimental and creative frontiers. Thanks for posting this cool video!
