This video demos PaklSound1, a “Musical Buttonpad for iPhone” inspired by Yamaha’s Tenori-On.
I’ve got the same concerns about this sort of app as the Tenori-On itself - it looks extremely limiting musically. I’d like to see an open-source community emerge for the iPhone, though. It would be great to see the same sort of creative energy that the Monome’s DIY community has come to the iPhone.
