Julien Bayle’s site features an interesting work in progress looking at building a Monome clone. Even more interesting, his project features multi-color LEDs.

It’s a heavy duty project, requiring coding, wiring and design skills. But if you can’t wait for a Monome or just don’t have the bucks, it could be the way to go.

    Hello, thanks for the link.
    I work hard on the RGB management.
    I guess it will be ok in about 1 month..
    I didn’t take shot or video because I’m waiting for this project will be finished to put all the wires/components in a pretty case/box!
