  1. all very pretty but something about these kind of videos leaves me a bit cold. the images in this particular video really doesn’t reflect the music of boc. there doesn’t seem to be any attempt at synchronisation with the music. there are thousands of pieces of music that could be simply played whilst this video is also playing and it would make an acceptable visual.

  2. all music is math as is computer graphics. how music and graphics sync has become more of a question of where do they sync. the answer is, of course: in various areas in the brain. what boc's music and this graphic have in common is a kind of drunken meandering well recognized by the brain. look at how the pov meanders around inside the efflorescence of the organic structure, which itself, shows a kind of continual semi-random ramification. all, somewhat disorienting, which is what i think boc's music is essentially about.
