GarageRemote is a free application that lets you control GarageBand’s transport functions using any MIDI controller that has programmable buttons.

System Requirements

  • Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger or newer
  • GarageBand 1.0 or newer
  • A MIDI keyboard or other controller with assignable buttons (like this one).
