This is just plain scary – this video shows Britney Spears performing at a Las Vegas concert with just her voice track – none of the backing tracks or vocal tracks she’s lip syncing too.
View it all the way through, if you can bear it – and you’ll understand why they invented Auto-Tune.

I’m no fan or anything, but the words “Funny or DIE” and “eBaumsworld” lead me to question the integrity of these “real vocals.”
To be fair, many of these modern pop stage shows require the singer to run around and dance the entire time, so yeah, the vocal is a recording for most if not all of the show. Rare is the dancing pop act where the singer actually does a decent vocal performance.
They get away with it by having the performer do banter to the crowd in between recorded bits to sell the illusion. But is anyone really surprised by this?
This is why no one really cared when Milli Vanilli were caught lip-synching live, as it was kind of expected. People only cared when it was revealed that they hadn’t sung the tracks to begin with.
Yeah, that’s fake. Funny, but fake.
No dancing performer sounds perfect, but they usually make a game attempt at the song. Britney actually has a decent voice – she’s not stratospheric like Christina Aguilera or Jessica Simpson, so she doesn’t get credit for that. Oh well.
I’m impressed about how awful she actually sings. And how much those kids love it! Well, maybe she was outta breath and need some training. Then again i doubt it…

that’s the reality… at studio without running she can sing really better than that BUT…. auto tune is a intensely used tool for any one of these pop girls, Britney, Cristina, Maryah etc etc etc ..its a shame… some gilrs even sing with autotune ON entire show so if she want sing she can and dont make things horrible.. and a gate should leave her mike open when she is singing and colse her mike when she were not singing just mimic.

LMAO!! She sucks…just goes to show that anyone can have a hit song with a producer who knows how to work autotune. This is exactly why most of the artists you here now days live, suck because they rely too much on technology and could never even come close to duplicating that performance while singing live
