I can only speculate why its better than YouTube -Less compressed video -Stereo sound -No additional audio compression -no fan created videos with anime are bands going to get royalties for plays like they did on MTV 20 years ago when they played videos on TV? Especially in some cases you can plonk "&fmt=18" at the end of youtube URLs and get higher quality video (only works in some cases, depends how much youtube throttle compression on each individual video).
