NSFW: Topless DJ Portia Surreal Wiped Off The Face Of The Internet

Last time we checked in with topless DJ Portia Surreal, the self-billed “Erotic Fetish DJ Extraordinaire” was an “up and coming” topless DJ, described at her site as a “glowing disco ball vixen”.

Here’s a little background on this glowing disco ball vixen:

Portia Surreal’s sexy showcase of artistic musical expression has teased and allured the world with controversy. Often being the first female DJ to perform in global venues, it has been her delicious pleasure to reinvent the ordinary conception of the traditional electronic DJ.

Due to the sexual nature of Portia Surreal’s shows, certain countries have required government approval prior to specific performances.

The shine may have worn off Surreal’s disco balls, though, because her website has been wiped off the face of the Internet.

Tragically, now it’s been replaced by one of those search engine spam sites:

Demand for erotic fetish DJ’s must not be what it used to be.

Surreal’s website is gone forever, but she’s still got a MySpace page and is popular as an opening act.

Here’s her official blurb:

DJ Portia Surreal

Portia debuted in 2002 as the first ever Erotic Fetish Burlesque dj for a lingerie themed glam club event entitled: SEXXXY. Turntables suspended from a ceiling above a lavish fur bed and, an evening of ecstatic erotica was where the heated passion of Surreal’s Disc Jockey Burlesque first became introduced. This magical night launched a world-wide mass response.

With the over night success of her charismatic novelty, Portia was named as one of the newest up and coming dj’s in 2003 by BPM Magazine. Within one year of the “topless” celebration Portia began performing for leading club varieties and headlined with Tiesto at the Rubber Pimp N Ho Ball for over 7000 people. With her self attained notoriety, Portia has successfully surpassed patron attendance records at numerous large scale venues as a solo headlining act.

With a high volume desire for her animated vivacious presence Portia continued to reinvent the traditional d.j. concept. Uniting with sexy, boy-toy Darius FXXX, together they formed the worlds first erotic strip tease performance art d.j. duo – better known as Surreal FXXX. Soon there after they began an endless adventure of international touring. From V.I.P. fashion soirées and private celebrity parties, to grandious club masquerade balls and international erotica festivals, Surreal FXXX’ sexy showcase of artistic expression has teased and allured the world with controversy.

The musical creativity immediately granted them the honorable privilege of headlining with many more of the worlds most prestigious djs. Bob Sinclair, Armand Van Heldon, Robbie Rivera, Starkillers, are a taste of the creme de la creme that they have graciously performed with for patrons of thousands on an international scale.

Surreal FXXX has unleashed a rose tinted, glittering spectacle of d.j. decadence amongst six continents and over forty countries thus yet. Paramount headlining booking successes include: numerous intercontinental Red Bull events, a 2006 summer residency for Playboy~Sexy & Fetish at El Divino in Ibiza, Spain, and a 2007 summer residency for F**k Me/Blow Me I’m Famous, Space Dance Mykonos, Greece.

Numerous high-profile companies have sponsored, promoted and presented Surreal FXXX’ erotic fetish festivities such as: Prada/LG electronics, Dom Perignon, Coca~Cola, Agent Provocateur, Trojan, Pioneer Pro DJ, Puma, Nokia, Swarovski Crystals, Moet, Bacardi, Ballentine’s and many others.

Miss Surreal has made front page headlines on major periodicals and appeared on a plethora of well known radio and television networks, including multiple versions of MTV, world-wide. She has been featured in numerous accredited magazines such as: Spin, Maxim, FHM, King, Skin Two, Playboy, and Hustler, as well as The Fetish Magazine Marquis, who declared her the “World’s number 1 Erotic DJ” in 2004.

For the 2005 DJ Queen Series at Ministry of Sound Taipei, Taiwan, Portia was the first female American d.j. to perform, as well as, be proclaimed as “‘The World’s Number 1 Erotic Fetish D.J!’ by M.O.S.”. As the original strip-tease d.j. pioneer, major venues unanimously agree and continue to promote Portia as the premier erotic d.j., and Surreal FXXX the “Worlds 1 Erotic D.J. Duo”.

Portia – infused with flare – has a hunger for brilliance and an enthusiastic commitment to the evolution of her sound. She continues to refine her talent on stage, behind the wheels of steel, and in the studio. Accompanied by Darius FXXX, she currently works on a variety of projects with brilliant producers, photographers and other creative minds. Gracious for the opportunity to unify the dimensions of music and sexuality – as an empowered, free spirited and nonconformist woman – she continues to revolutionize the DJ industry. Following her bliss and riveting the planet’s hottest dance floors, Portia continues to pursue her fetish — the distinguished art of erotic musical expression.

  1. HAHAHAH omg, i was actually asked to teach her how to mix and refuesed…. once i heard how AWFUL she was, then was booked UNDER her … (which was a joke to begin with)…. but i guess sex sells, or sold, but if you ever heard her live WHAT THE HELL was mixmag thinking saying she was a dj to look out for? she makes a trainwreck sound good…. i agree with anyonymous up there…. 100%

  2. Shocking news indeed… 🙁

You can see videos of her on the web. She appears to have the required skills to play one song and then they next.

  3. Somebody at Mixmag must have had a reason for saying she was good,
I wonder what she did to impress them so much?
Personally if I went to see a “topless DJ” and her “top” was fake, I would want a refund. But maybe there is hope, she can always team up with Samantha Ronson and they can be pretend DJs in a duo.

  4. haha…The first female DJ to perform in global venues?? I don’t think so…Miss Shiva went international way before Portia. She is one of many female DJs that went international way before Portia did. But the big difference is that Miss Shiva and these other female DJs can actually spin flawless. And when I heard Portia live, in 2004….Too many train wrecks…Though she did make a couple of clean mixes. I wouldn’t mind teaching he to DJ. 😉 …but Miss Shiva is way hotter and is one of the very few trance DJs that I would bow down to. I used to see her spin at Paramount Park in Rodermark, Germany.

  5. Maybe all of you haters are just that – haters. You obviously no idea what’s happening in Ms. Surreal’s life right now only because she’s not checking in every five minutes on myspace, facebook, twitter, website, etc. Maybe her website is down for a bit since she plans on creating a new one…it is possible.
Most of you people sleep in front of your computers and people that really have important agendas do not. For all of you that have not heard or seen her spin, whatever information you may find while searching for her on in the world wide web of b.s. doesnt do her any justice…especially since they suck due to the quality or they dont really display what exactly it is that she’s portraying due to the “sexual content”; most people out there dont really understand and appreciate it anyway.
What most “haters” fail to recognize is that sex and dance music have always worked hand in hand together. People go to parties to release and get f—ed or f—ed up. The age of watching and listening to an ugly, out of shape dj are over. And all those of you that have to work 9-5 jobs because they really can’t make it out there since you don’t have that “it” factor, so very sad to hear that.
People are posting about hearing her play in 2003, 2004, but it is 2009 folks. You guys have obviously not heard her play since then because she is an international act, in fact…just maybe her skills, presentations and performances have evolved since then – including her music. There are other “topless” djs out there, but there is only one Portia Surreal.
True artists dont hate, they appreciate other forms of expressions outside their own. Take a look in the mirror. You may think you are an artist because you, yourself and your ego considers yourself a dj but that does not define you as such. Also, life is a bit bigger than djing now a days anyway, since everybody claims to be one and they are a dime a dozen.
So continue to live in your box, in front of your computer 24/7, bitching and complaining about how this or that dj sucks while the rest of the world, including P Surreal makes her mark around the world(if you havent really, deeply understood what she represents by now, its way too deep and over your heads anyway). Cry and dont quit your day jobs since you obviously don’t have “it”. Its not what you do that makes you, its how you it that defines you.
Either way everybody is entitled to there opinions and beliefs so much love to all – Haters & those that appreciate.

“The age of watching and listening to an ugly, out of shape dj are over”

Dude, are you fuckin’ kidding me? It isn’t about how hot a DJ looks. It’s about if he or she throws the right music and can throw it down right. I would rather hear some fat, ugly DJ play an awesome flawless set than to see a hot, nude female throw down a shitty set. It isn’t about how good you look. It’s about the music and how well you can put together a set.

So, Portia can mix now?? That’s good. Good for her. I hope she didn’t turn her tables in for something like Ableton or Tracktor. Cause, shit like that doesn’t count. Good DJs don’t need help to beat match. They just need their God given ears. Only the crappy ones need tools to beat match. And just because you’ve gone international, that doesn’t make you a good DJ. Look at Deadmau5…

  7. I'd go and see portia get her tits out anyday! who gives a rats ass about the music if i wanna listen to music i can do that at home! why should i go to a club and jump aound like a queer pretending to admire some idiot dj mixing electronic noise its all the same shit to me..

  8. Ok, this is in defense of my friend "PORTIA" …{{{whom i have known for years}}} First, she is a wonderful person with a positive attitude, Phenominal artistic skills, and a great love for life. She has a willingness to learn and grow as long as she doesnt hurt anyone along her path. {{{which alot of people do NOT have in this industry or when it comes to business in general}}} For anyone to sit here and say negative things about her or anyone for that matter, is just wrong. Jealousy and hatred never got anyone anywhere…

  9. the idiots above who think they are so great at mixing music they dont even create themselves are idiots. I've never met her, but aside from creating a beautiful show at her gigs, its cear that she brings a lot to her shows…. A lot more than what some ugly dude in a tee shirt and backward baseball cap brings.

It is pathetic that some little dick duche bag would write those previous posts. Not only does it say a lot about their view of and disrespect for women, but also their complete insecurity as an "artist".

For what its worth, I can;t wait to catch a show of hers. DJ Archaic ? who the fuck is that anyway? I guess his stupid DJ name says it all haha

  10. We have been booking Portia Surreal at several of our Club venues over the past eight years, she has become a good friend of ours.
WE LOVE HER! The customers LOVE HER! She puts on an amazing show both audibly and visually. She is also an incredible artist to work with, very professional, organized and courteous. For all the above individuals that left nasty comments negativity comes from a place of insecurity. Be proud of you are, you don't have to put Portia down to feel good about yourself. There is nothing to be gained from critiquing Portia critic yourself, there's always room for self improvement…
We will continue to book Portia as long as she is playing, she is a sweetheart and doesn't have a nasty negative bone in her body. She is just doing her thing and doing it very well, traveling all over the world and getting paid well t do it, Spain, South Africa, Grease, just to name a few… Go Girl!!! I love You!
    Your Fans & Friends forever…Gidget & Lance

  11. I used to work with her at Rick’s Caberet before she ever started DJing, she was pretty nice but slightly stuck up… Though maybe it was just the attitude she had at the club… Or maybe it was the fact that I was the only other fetish act at the club & we kinda battled for songs & customers that preferred our style. When she DJ’ed at events that I performed at we never really were around each other so I can’t give an opinion on her attitude then but her mixing wasn’t too bad… That was a very long time ago though.
