Actually, its exactly the sort of thing I would love to have as a controller, because its got so much… control (which sounds really silly now that I type it). The same way I would love for Buchla to re-introduce they’re amazing Thunder controller from 1990. Unfortunately, it seems like the vast majority of the big companies making MIDI controllers have no interest in anything that doesn’t look like a piano keyboard. The innovative stuff is arriving from small garage companies and crazy bearded men in basements.
For $7000, some imagination, and the willingness to tackle solder and wiring, you could custom build a controller that exactly matches your needs…
