We haven’t featured many severe-looking German electronic music quartets on Synthtopia since we found out that Minneapolis Hates Kraftwerk.
Rectifying that are Grainface, captured performing Furióus on January 2008 in the ZKM Kubus (Zentrum für Kunst- und Medientechnologie) Karlsruhe. Watch for some interesting use of gestural control.

Grainface is the laptop ensemble of the Institute for musicology and musicinformatics (Musikwissenschaft und Musikinformatik) of the University of Music Karlsruhe.
