Airheads are a new type of touchless MIDI controller that lets you play music by waving your hands in the air.
This MIDI controller has two sensors sticks that are placed 2 ft. apart. The sensor sticks act as a hands free MIDI controller and are able to sense both position and velocity. A player’s hands are able to generate different notes and different preselected velocities.
A starter kit (soldering and assembly required), including a single Airheads controller and all necessary parts and cables is available from MakerSHED for $99.95 (USD).
