Livid Union rocks too, especially with their hardware controller that matches their software. (The Ohm.) But I have to say VST effects on the audio and the streamlined interface for how audio is manipulated with the video on Resolume is pretty great.

Haven't watched the whole vid yet, but I do like the "Work It" they picked. Anything which makes VJing more spontaneous yet structured — sounds like a contradiction but it has a common theme of "intuition" — is a godsend. I'd love to see more tools do for VJing what iMovie did for home movie-making, or what ACID and Ableton Live did for loop-based music.

Great software! As long as you can control it with MIDI CC 'Learn" devices, I say "yes" - it is Ableton for video - Actually it is Ableton video.
Do you think I could cherry-pick my way through the interface? I mean do the arrow keys advance left, right, up, down highlighted clips on screen?
The Logitech joystick we use for Ableton simply substitutes motion for keystrokes. -Kipp
