The good people at DeadAct dredged up this video of Dali soloing on synth.
Note that there’s no correlation between what she plays and the synth sounds.

sorry to hear that the psytrance scene in brazil is so lame. you should come to a psytrance party in the US sometime, i guarantee there will be a proportional amount of women to men and people try to clean up (most of the time)
sorry i was a little anger at last post and i still mad, i aways have been mad with psy scene here.. GOA trance parties were good 9 years ago here, even i didnt enjoy the Goa sound too much, but the parties were really good.. after that only psy money machine party, mainstream money making, 30.000 people dancing to the fake dj.. thats amazing hilarious at the same time…with that 199BPM sound coming from the speakers with fake Djs and Live PA (Parasites Acts),to make people who knows whats going on really mad and the other 29.990 dancing to the gods or to the drugs and other 3 with their account loaded of money just a genius move of this “employers” in a “to smart people fuck with ignorant people” society , oh god where we will end in this world….

NONE plays what you call live. the only thing that artists do is press play on Cubase, logic or Ableton.So if you like the music why care?does anyone knows how many hours the artist gave up to make the live you are listening to?Probably a lot.

What I mean is that she is performing on a stage and probably feels the need to do something during the synth parts, so why not twiddle a few knobs? It's all pretty harmless stuff really. To faultlessly play an obviously sequenced synth part on stage at around 142bpm whilst jumping up and down and drinking would be hard enough. Psytrance and Acid for ever

hmmmm, gotta say I was expecting a lot worse. She def needed more processing on the vocals, that souded painful.
Most psytrance acts fake it live, even the great ones. It is sequenced music by definition, there is nothing live about it – artists even need to be careful about what they do live as it often hinders the sound instead of providing the live energy.
Yeah, this kind of track is very difficult to perform live as it follows a very sequenced linear route and by it's nature will be made up of so many different sounds and fx, performing the whole thing live would require many more musicians on stage all playing 16th note riffs in perfect sync. Seeing as most psytrance 'acts' are made up of one or two bedroom producers this just is never going to happen! From watching the vid I think she was playing that simple 3 note riff live – and that's as much as you can expect from most live dance acts. They'll pick something simple that they know they can play and just rinse out that line for a bit. Either that or manipulate the filters / envelope on one or two sounds, so give the poor girl a break, she's out there doing what she loves and spending a lot of time in the studio making the music that, like or not, people are dancing to!
uhm. not to defend dali but i've seen many fakers. some are due to lack of wrong interconnecting gear being held up in customs/lost luggage, some due to language issues in explaining what gear was required for a live set and so on. the artists still have to "act" like it's live.
any decent fan/musician can tell the difference between a live set and a cover anyhow.
erez/duvdev (infected mushroom) have made an entire career of playing "live" when half the gear isn't even plugged in, or powered on.
fakery is all relative.
