Johan Larsby demos his “sweeter” DIYtar 2.
It still won’t make anybody look badass like Herbie Hancock, but that may be too much to ask from a keyboard. It’s a massive leap forward aesthetically from DIYtar 1 and it looks like it would be pretty fun to play!
DIYtar is sweeter – and it’s a very nice DIY project. Some of the most interesting new instrument designs are now coming from people experimenting with DIY projects in their kitchens – so I’m looking forward to seeing what Larsby comes up with for DIYtar 3.
