Vintage Sonik Synth 2 Video!

via sonicreality:

I found the original Sonik Synth 2 video before it came out. This is years ago. But check out the video footage of the old Sonic Reality “museum” studio in Los Angeles. That was actually a room I rented from Grover Jackson (of Jackson guitars) and the Gold records on the wall were actually his.

But when people came to our studio they’d be impressed and then go up to them and read “Twisted Sister” and “Quiet Riot” and think “Huh?”. Then I’d explain that both that and the wall of guitars weren’t ours.

But the keyboards were and that’s just a small sampling of what we’ve sampled over the years for Sonic Reality.

      something to think about

My guitar only has five strings ’cause the top one broke and I decided not to put it back on: when I play chords I only play bar chords, and the top one always used to cut me there. — Brian Eno
