I’m sure this will charge up some people, but let me throw this idea out.
We know this software has the ability to yield professional results. However, it’s a very affordable, all-in-one package that is easily obtainable for anyone starting out in DAW music creation. Hence, you get a lot of crap music as a result from it.
Search for music made by Reason, and you swim through a mass of amateur and beginner mess. Their target market is painting the poor image that Propellerhead seems to have to fight against with their product.
I’m sure this scares away some people from the product and doesn’t help with its image. Unfortunately it’s the result of their success, eh?
You could say the same thing about Garageband, couldn’t you?
