Superstar DJ Norman Cook (AKA Fatboy Slim) has checked himself into rehab in an attempt to combat his addiction to alcohol.
Reports have circulated that Cook entered a specialist clinic on Monday, with his manager Garry Blackburn confirming this in an official statement. “It’s all pretty straightforward,” he explained. “He has gone in voluntarily to sort out his drinking problem.”
This comes after a “problematic performance” at the Good Vibrations festival in Australia, where Cook was reportedly “clearly intoxicated”.
Let’s hope the funk soul brother works this out.

We all need a break from the chaos once in a while… It is particularly difficult to avoid booze when it is legal and prevalent in every corner of the world (When in fact alcohol causes more problems than some of the ‘illegal’ substances available). Once he’s DJing again he will face the challenge of avoiding his addiction while it is literally in his face. Good Luck Slim!
