The Gakken Premium Theremin
This is a demo of the Gakken Premium Theremin from the Maker Shed, a $140 DIY project.
If you’ve built or used the Gakken Premium Theremin, leave a comment with your thoughts!
Description:
Use your right hand to adjust the tone, and your left to change the volume, but no need to touch! The small speaker will provide ample sound, but you can also connect the Theremin to external speakers, or even mix it with other instruments such as Gakken’s Analog Synthesizer!

Hi I just bought this theremin one week ago and then i stille play some good tunes
This model was supposed and presented as a toy , because Gakken is much known as a toy builder , but this time I can say that it is truly playable, as the Moog model
To prove this, you can listen to my demos on my blog, or dailymotion or youtube
I will play live the next time , but outdoor, because the Gakken is a nomad model (4AA batteries and you play everywhere !!!)
