He spends like, 8 hours on a stutter edit & gets all excited about the 2048th notes etc and to the normal listener it just sounds like a "fart noise". The album 'Emotional Technology" was like, 90% technology & 10% emotion (and I AM a BT fan - but an honest one). He's getting way too hung up on trivial tech & electronic farting sounds. I'm a BT fan & I'd have to agree. He spends like, 8 hours on a stutter edit & gets all excited about the 2048th notes etc and to the normal listener it just sounds like a "fart noise". If you fault him for stutter editing, then you must also fault Philip Glass for overuse of ostinatos — and look what Glass is still getting out of developing that further, decades later. It's definitely a pillar, surrounded by many supplementary elements. I look forward to hearing BT's whole new album!
