harder-better-faster-strongerWe recently updated Synthtopia to speed up commenting on the site, and the feedback has been positive.

Today, we updated the site caching software, to address problems some users have been seeing with pages occasionally loading incompletely. Thanks to Torley, MarkMosher and others for bringing this to our attention.

We also enabled compression on the server today. If your browser supports compression, Synthtopia should load up to 80% faster.

Our goal is to make Synthtopia Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger.

Let us know how it’s working for you. If you follow me on Twitter, send me a note if you ever have a problem and I’ll check it out as soon as possible.

Thanks for your feedback.

Works fine for me, but I didn't have any problem before.

I'll continue to report problems, and thanks for doing the "Daft Punk" on this ;) so I can continue to enjoy Synthtopia! ROBOT ROCK ON… (Couldn't resist, I'm not apologetic.)

You can report successes, too. No need to hold back.

Good idea. I won't restrain myself when it comes to praise!

Links from well-positioned websites are always welcome, but we'll settle for left-handed compliments. Things like "Pages that load raaawwwwk!" or even "I'm glad that commenting actually works now!!!!"

      something to think about

Music, traditionally, is something that exists now and then disappears. Well it’s not like that with recording. Recording holds it in place and turns music into a malleable, plastic medium. So it absolutely suits painters. It’s the medium made for painting, actually – painting with sound. — Brian En
