The first question I ask myself when something doesn’t seem to be beautiful is why do I think it’s not beautiful. And very shortly you discover that there is no reason.

hi observer
I change the pitch with the fret buttons on the neck that aready were on the original toy guitar. And i cant really change the synth patch because its 3 hard-wired 555 ics that make only squarewaves. Maybe i could make them produce triangle waves but an electric guitar with distortion makes square waves too. I already thought about the release time too but i really built this the simplest way i could figure out and its just like on/off atm. This is a very first version and i built it to see if i could do it and if it can be played (sortof).
Thank you for your hints, i'll consider that when im making the next version.
